2018 starts as 2017 finished…busy!

Happy New Year one and all. We have a few things to report since our last post in November.

Our puppet cameo in Buxton Drama League’s “Dracula” went down well…

…our “Season’s Greetings” puppets returned safely from their winter outing to Macclessfield with MADS Theatre, as usual the ‘puppet show reheasal’ scene was madness and a hit with the audience. We are very glad to help out am-dram groups with this extremely prop-heavy, intricately-staged play. I wonder where the puppets will end up next!

Our Changing Faces workshop continue at  The Green Man Gallery: at the end of last year we had a Christmas Party where we made slime(!) and now we delve into the magical world of shadow puppetry and film-making. Click here to see what else we have been up to at the workshops.

And finally, July 2018 marks our 20th year(!!) as an official organisation at least. There was some form of puppet-making going on before it got more organised! We are hoping to celebrate this by going big at the Buxton Carnival parade. We would love as many people as possible to get involved so please get in touch if you would like to join us.
