Buxton Carnival 2018

Buxton Carnival 2018 marked the day we celebrated “twenty odd years of Funny Wondering” – twenty years since our inaugural event on 4th July 1998. We were joined by some of the participants of our Changing Faces afterschool club and the usual band of family and volunteers. Find out more about our twentieth celebrations here.

​For the parade, we made some banner puppets during Saturday-afternoon workshops and at our Tuesday Changing Faces workshops.

​We were awarded first prize in our category and enjoyed great interaction with the crowds as we flew, swung and swam our banner puppet creations around the town.
