Post-summer wind down……….NOT!
As the weather takes a turn (it’s currently grey, raining and dreary) we at Funny Wonders usually have a bit of break following our summer activities before our plans for the following year start to take shape. This year, however, we seem to be pushing on through! We are waiting to hear about one funding application and working on another for two brand new projects. We’ll hopefully have some exciting news next month.
The last thing to tell you about this year is our involvement in the 23rd International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival in Harrogate. We made two Balinese puppets for the SavoyNET Performing Group for their production of ‘Utopia Limited’. To see more pictures, see our project page here.
Next up for our team is a shadow puppet theatre workshop at Buxworth Primary School. We’ll be making short adventure films based on the legend of King Arthur. Really looking forward to see what the pupils come up with!

As always, we are looking for people to join our organisation so please get in touch if you’re interested.
