SavoyNET 2016

Following our project making puppets for the Buxton Drama League in 2015 we were approached by SavoyNET Performing Group to make some Balinese puppets for their production of Gilbert & Sullivan’s ‘Utopia Limited’ performed in Harrogate at the Royal Opera House during the 23rd International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival.

We were asked to make two Balinese style puppets of a man and two princesses. They were used to act out a song in the play. Photos below show the making process and the rehearsals and performance
