Buxton Flowerpot Trail 2023 Map
Greetings flowerpot fans. Please find below an electronic version of the 2023 Buxton Flowerpot Trail map (.jpg) which runs July and August this year. Printed copies are available from The Pump Room, Poole’s Cavern Visitor Centre, The Green Man Gallery and Scrivener’s Bookshop.
The theme for the Buxton Flowerpot Trail this year is Gilbert & Sullivan operas, to celebrate the return to Buxton of the full International Gilbert & Sullivan Festival.
We ran pick-up-pots stalls/workshops at the Buxton Spring Fair, the Rotary Summer Fair, Buxton Markets and The Green Man Gallery and had making sessions with Grapevine Wellbeing Centre. If you’d like a workshop with us next year, please get in touch!
Our thanks to Cllr Linda Grooby (Buxton North & East) and Cllr Rachael Quinn (Barms) and Jean Todd (Central) for their contributions from the Derbyshire County Councillors Members’ Community Fund and High Peak Borough Council Councillors Initiative Fund, respectively.
Continued thanks go to Buxton Town Team for the use of their map and The Green Man Gallery for all the things. Thanks also to Poole’s Cavern, Scrivener’s Bookshop and Buxton Crescent Heritage Trust for selling the maps, along with the Gallery, and to the Rotary Club of Buxton and Buxton Markets for hosting our workshops.
And thanks to all those who are part of the trail, all those who helped to promote it, including our wonderful volunteers, and to you for taking part.
We hope the flowerpot creations bring a smile to all who see them.
