Changing Faces Winter/Spring 2018

Well. We’ve done quite a lot this year! We created a shadow puppet show: writing, exploring light and shadow, making and performing. Unfortunately, it got too light to film it but we will return to it in the winter. As part of it, we created a glowstickman dance which was great fun and came out quite well for a first attempt. This is something else we hope to come back to and build on.

We also created a mural for The Green Man Gallery which will be displayed outside. It just needs a varnish. Other activities this year include: calligraphy, dance and we made some flowerpot people. We now turn out attention to the Buxton Spa Prize and the Buxton Carnival. So much to be doing!

If you know any young people (11-18yrs) (or are one yourself) who would like to join us, please get in touch!

We’re also looking for more volunteers to get involved. If you like creative, crafty activities, want to work with young people and are free on a Tuesday afternoon, please get in touch!
