Over the past week, we have hosted ‘self-employed artist’ work experience placements for a group of Buxton & Leek College students at the Devonshire Dome.

They were tasked with making a gigante puppet for a parade at the College’s Leek campus later in the year.

It didn’t quite go as planned as, unfortunately, many of the students failed to turn up each day so members of our team pitched in to help those who did finish the project.

They were asked to present their work to faculty members and the FWinc team at the end of the week.
