The 2009 Buxton Puppet Festival was the stage for the third international exchange with the Yamabiko-Za Children’s Theatre from Sapporo, Japan and their second visit to Buxton. To see photos from the exchange please click on the photo to the right.

The festival also featured performances by Didley Dee Puppets, Erriko, Idolrich theatreRotto Productions, WishWorks, Presto Puppets, Objects Dart, Jonathon Storey, Figure of Speech, Poppet Puppets and Lempen Puppet Theatre.
Street performances were given by Sim-Sim Puppet Theatre, Silisosige, Beresford Puppets, Frolicked and Ramshackle Theatre.
