Changing Faces 2025/2026

Our Changing Faces project has been running since 2017. It is a creative, after-school club for young people aged 11-18yrs in Buxton who face daily difficulties and disadvantage. We provide a range of creative activities, giving participants choice of what they want to do. Savoury snacks and fruit cordial are offered.

The project during the 2025/2026 academic year is supported by grants from The Bingham Trust and Health & Wellbeing Partnership’s Health & Wellbeing Grant.

Workshops run on term-time Tuesdays after-school at St Anne’s Community Centre until 5pm, starting on 16 September 2025. They will run at least until the Easter holidays.

There are a few places still available.

Activities

So far during the autumn term, we have drawn visual illusions, ‘completed the picture’, tried flower arranging, made Halloween shadow windows, tried button art, made fancy snowflakes, made Christmas cards, practised speaking skills and written and gave speeches on things we’re passionate about.
