Sadly, the Buxton Puppet Festival will not be taking place this summer. The new management team of the Buxton Opera House have re-assessed their programme and unfortunately are not able to continue to present the puppet festival. We hope it will return in the future.

To increase the likelihood of this, please feel free to write a letter of support for the puppet festival to the Buxton Opera House for the attention of Simon Glinn, Chief Exec.

The Funny Wonders team will discuss the news at our next meeting and hopefully develop a programme to ensure the town isn’t without puppetry.
