In 2009, we were invited to create a show about respect for a Youth Discovery Ventures day in Hulme, Manchester.
The Youth Group devised a show about bullying and colour. It started with a group of furry, coloured animals divided into primary, secondary and tertiary colours with the primary colours thinking they were superior to secondary colours and secondary to tertiary colours. A wise old owl set them a quest to find a lost egg. On the quest, the animals had to learn to work together and respect each other in order to find the egg. The piece ended with the colours all mixed up to create a beautiful rainbow which they climbed to find the egg in the very top of a tree.
